Sam Pace

Sam is a senior built and cultural heritage consultant with experience across the UK and Ireland in the public, private, and third sectors. Sam has several years’ experience of providing advice to owners, agents, architects and Development Management Officers on a wide variety of development schemes with the potential to impact heritage assets.
Sam is also well-versed in the production of conservation area appraisal and management plans, feasibility studies and options appraisals, and contributing towards emerging Local Plans. Additionally, she has experience of contributing to Environmental Impact Assessments, as well as Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
Sam has a particular interest in adaptive re-use and securing new sustainable uses for historic structures (sometimes through enabling development), particularly those which are considered at risk. She is also a passionate advocate for sustainability and managing retrofit schemes within the historic built environment.
Sam has an MSc in Historic Conservation from Oxford Brooked University and has recently completed a post-graduate certificate course in Heritage and Archaeology with the University of Leicester. Sam is a member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation and a full member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.
