Carl Vann leads one of Pollard Thomas Edwards’ design studios, taking projects from concept to completion alongside his board responsibilities for strategic direction of brand, finances and business planning.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Carl’s current projects are operating at the forefront of masterplanning, residential and mixed-use design innovation; including the recent RIBA National and Housing Design Award winning, Beechwood Village in Essex. Carl promotes extensive engagement and collaboration alongside original design thinking to create locally inspired buildings and places that are striking, equitable and impactful.

Carl is a former chair of the New London Architecture Expert Panel on Housing, design advisor to the Royal Borough of Greenwich and previously a visiting lecturer at The Bartlett, London Metropolitan and London Southbank universities. He is also a mentor for the Future of London Leaders programme.
