Melissa is a Director at Bell Phillips with an award-winning portfolio of housing projects based in London and the South-East and a client list including Related Argent, Clarion, Lendlease and more than half the London boroughs. Melissa has extensive experience in designing regeneration and residential schemes, as well as urban design, public buildings and public realm. She is a passionate advocate for raising the standards of residential design in the public sector and has a particular interest in the role of residential development as a catalyst for regeneration of urban and suburban areas alike.

Over the past two decades Melissa has worked on numerous schemes across Essex from small scale infill housing sites to large scale strategic masterplans and has a detailed understanding of the challenges and opportunities that drive development in the county.
