Mike Martin has many years’ experience working in a multidisciplinary environment as Landscape Architect and Urban Designer.  Mike is a founding director of Turkington Martin and was previously a director of Whitelaw Turkington.  Mike has led projects across a range of scales and sectors, from strategic masterplans such as Convoys Wharf, Imperial West and Greenwich Peninsula in London to individual residential, education and commercial developments throughout London and the southeast.  Mike has worked on a range of residential developments and education projects in Essex.

Prior to this Mike led design teams at the GLC, BDP and Aukett, where his experience was varied in scale and sensitivity and includes Coin Street Riverside Walk and Community Gardens, Channel Tunnel Folkestone Terminal and Joseph Banks Building at Kew Gardens.  

Mike currently sits on Design Review Panels for Royal Borough of Greenwich and London Boroughs of Lambeth and Redbridge and previously sat on the Quality Review Panel at the LLDC for eight years.
