Ze’ev is a chartered architect and the director of Borough Architects, a Cambridge based practice with over 20 years of experience.
He studied architecture in Jerusalem, the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (IUAV) and the London Met.
His past experience includes working on high quality public realm projects, landscape and masterplans abroad, several significant projects in central London and Bath for Eric Parry Architects and a clinical research lab building for the University of Cambridge/ NHS trust in Addenbrookes biomedical campus with RH Partnership Architects.
Since establishing his own practice in 2014 he has been working on retrofit and re-use of existing buildings, infill sites and complex mid scale urban mixed use projects between London, Cambridge and the South West, as well as small domestic projects in Essex and Greater Cambridge. Currently Borough Architects are developing a prefabricated temporary housing project for a council in London.
Ze’ev has been a committee member of the Cambridge Association of Architects since 2010 and a member of the Greater Cambridge Design Review Panel.
In 2024 he co-founded the Cambridge Room, a charity which aims to raise the quality of the built environment through better public engagement and community action. As a trustee he advocates for an honest and open public consultation process reaching the affected local residents, through closing the communication gap between the public, academia and the professional planning and development sector.
He is registered with the Architects Registration Board and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
