Hanna is a Chartered Landscape Architect with 16 years of experience delivering landscape-led projects across Greater London, Essex, Milton Keynes and the wider South East. She is currently an Associate at Farrer Huxley and a member of the practice's Senior Management Team.
Hanna's professional background is in landscape architecture, with a particular focus on people-centred, community-led and collaborative design. She has worked across a broad range of sectors, including public realm, residential regeneration, schools, further education and commercial development, leading projects through all RIBA stages from concept design to construction and completion.
In Essex, she has played a key role in the design and delivery of a major business park development in Braintree, helping to establish a new model for commercial development that responds sensitively to the surrounding rural landscape and providing a healthy place to work.
Hanna has a strong interest in creating considerate, human-scale environments that balance beauty, functionality and long-term resilience. Her work is underpinned by a holistic approach to placemaking, integrating nature, movement, ecology and social value to create places that support wellbeing and foster a sense of identity. She is particularly interested in how development can successfully balance housing growth and economic needs with environmental enhancement, active travel, play and access to nature.
Committed to collaborative working, Hanna has contributed to artist-led projects, artist selection processes and interdisciplinary design teams. As a member of the Panel, she brings a thoughtful and constructive approach, helping to ensure proposals are ambitious, inclusive and responsive to their context.
